Department of Education’s CPIC Award
Manassas, VA – October 30, 2021. Zip Zap IT Solutions is embarking on a $3 million contract for the Department of Education’s Office of Elementary and Secondary Education (OESE). Zip Zap IT has become a trusted partner, as a HUBZone certified, ISO 9001:2015 standard company that has proven its expertise in prior contracts within the Department of Education.
OESE is responsible for administering grant programs that support the mission of the Department of Education. Many of these grant programs implement IT systems to assist in grants management, data collection and reporting, and technical assistance.
Zip Zap IT will provide Capital Management and Planning (CPIC)/Investment Management services for all OESE major and non-major IT investments, including business case support, EVM analysis, budget formulation and execution, OMB 300 and OMB 53 development and maintenance.
Zip Zap’s team of Subject Matter Experts (SME) plan to follow the CPIC model to streamline data reporting and ensure efficient management of resources.
This contract reflects a Firm Fixed-Price Performance-Based Acquisition (FFP-PBA) for one base year with the potential for four option years. Zip Zap IT will provide skilled services to perform CPIC efforts to support the development and growth of OESE by adhering to all Federal Government and Department of Education regulations, directives, and standards.
