Java Developer with 4 Years experience
We are looking for a Java Developer with min 5 Year experience for our Crystal City VA location.
Possession of OPM Background Check with BI or SSBI is required as a condition for employment.
Job Location: Crystal City, VA Job Duration: Full Time Assignment Type: W2 or 1099 Contractor
Responsibilities Include:
Participating in the design and development of web applications Services systems
Developing web applications using; Java, Struts, Spring and SSO with Active Directory and Oracle DB Server
Building Web-Based GUI rich applications
Skills and Knowledge Desired:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science/MIS or related discipline
Minimum of 4 years development experience
Experience with Web-Services, Real Time and Batched integration processes between systems
Experience with vendor products for Workflow and CMS a plus
All applicants MUST be US citizens or lawful permanent residents.
All applicants MUST have BI or SSBI clearance.
Quality Assurance and Software Tester

Education & Experience:
Four plus years of in-depth experience and demonstrated proficiency with QA methodology, process, and deliverables with focus on web-based technologies. Experience implementing automated testing tools and instrumental in increasing the use of automated testing on projects is a plus. Four Year collage degree or equivalent.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Analysis of requirements and design of documents to identify all functions to be tested
- Writing testing plans and detailed test scripts to validate each requirement
- Conducting tests in accordance with the test plans to assure proper system functionality
- Provides high level of functionality, usability, and testability expertise during requirements and design phases.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills and strong teamwork relationships.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
- Analytical and very detail-oriented
Experience with the Agile software testing
Experience in requirements testing to include:
Documenting test results describing problems encountered and writing test reports.
Ability to establish and maintain effective and cooperative working relationships with both peers and management
Ability to quickly learn business needs and workflow.
